Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo – perfect place to stay

Do you want to enjoy luxury accommodation, that`s not too pricey when staying at Tokyo? Then maybe Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo is a place for you. This beautiful 5-star hotel situated in the heart of an amazing city has it all. Comfortable rooms, wellness and spa, large indoor pool, good food and, what I found most appealing, a divine garden.

During our visit to Japan, we were lucky enough to be guests of this great hotel, and all I can say is – it was very hard for us to leave.

 

People

For me and my family, people are everything. And the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo staff members were practically the first people that we have met in Japan. Oh… they were amazing. Generally speaking, Japanese are well known for their hospitality, so it`s not a surprise that a 5-star hotel staff treats their guests in the best possible way.

We came quite late. Tired from 20+ hours on the road (or, better said – in the air). Check-in went smoothly. Our luggage was transferred to the room. Our kid got her very first present (yes, there were more later) – a cute little teddy bear which she really loved. These are the kind of things that matter.

The staff is fluent in English and very helpful. They try to solve every problem you might have. For example, we couldn’t open my mobile phone to put a new micro card in it, we needed some needle or something like that – yup… they solved the problem.

Rooms

Our room was like an apartment. We had everything we needed. A large comfortable bed – all three of us slept in it and had high-quality rest. A little kitchenette with a kettle, minibar, free tea and a complimentary bottle of water every day.

We came to the room extremely tired, especially, our little girl. But when we saw the view, the bed, and the size of the room, we felt alive again :D. It was really hard to fall asleep that first night. There was too much excitement.

The bathroom was amazing – with bathtub and a shower which was great. I especially liked the toiletries – Loccitane cosmetics all over the place.

The room looked quite western, but there was some Japanese touch in it. First of all, I am talking about the toilet. Japanese toilets are something else. With all of those buttons… fantastic. I am ashamed to say, but I miss the toilets so much 😀

The best thing about our room was the view. Oh, man… That view was breathtaking – no matter what time of day it was. I remember – we were laying in the bed at night, Lara was sleeping, and we were just staring at the city lights, happy… in silence.

And in the morning… you see this. I don`t think I have to add anything more…

There are different kinds of rooms and suites to choose from. I am sure that you can easily find the perfect one that fits your needs.

Breakfast and restaurants

When you eat at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, you have a breakfast with a view. There are lots of choices – western and Japanese breakfasts, and there is a kids menu available too. Also, there are nine different restaurants in this amazing hotel, offering meals made from the finest ingredients of the season.

Wellness and SPA

Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to relax in the pool and to visit the spa. But I am sure that it would be an extraordinary experience.

Garden

This is the best part. Just imagine – you are in the middle of a crowded city, but at the same time, you are in the beautiful oasis of peace and beauty which you can enjoy in every season. We especially liked the three-story pagoda, but in Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo`s garden you can enjoy the waterfalls, shrines, all kind of flowers and trees. Since there are lots of weddings held in the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, you can see brides and guests dressed in kimonos during the photo session in the garden.

 

Location

The hotel is located in the quiet residential neighborhood of Mejiro. Different metro stations are within walking distance and the Yamanote line, which is covered by a JR pass, is ten minutes away by taxi ride. (it will cost you 1000 yen)

Bonus

Our little girl was very happy with the kids welcoming set that contained yukata, bathrobe, toothbrush, sleepers…

And we were thrilled with a mobile phone which we could take out -it was really helpful to be online.

Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo is definitely a place to stay if you are visiting this amazing city. You will enjoy large rooms, fantastic views, tasty food and most of all, you will feel really welcomed. I know we did. <3
